California’s rising culinary star at Gourmet Abu Dhabi


The founder, owner and masterchef of San Francisco’s acclaimed COI restaurant will be turning his ingredient-driven prowess to good use when he makes his first foray into the Middle East – at Gourmet Abu Dhabi culinary festival (February 8-23)

rom 9-12 February, the two-Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Patterson will serve up the type of creation that has taken COI into the San Pelligrino World Best Restaurant list, in a series of promotions at the signature 55 & 5th, The Grill at the newly-opened, luxury, five-star The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi.

hef Patterson will be turning his ‘sense of place’ cuisine into unique dishes fine tuned for this magnificent, waterfront Arabian setting, with oysters, lamb, beets roasted in hay, inverted fromage blanc tart and many other culinary delights on the menu.
